It 'an event dedicated to the knowledge of the area and the typical products of Puglia enogastronomy. La Masseria La Torre Teaching has always adhered to the regional event. Every year we open the doors of the Masseria from the afternoon into the night, with a series of activities aimed to explore the sights, history and rural tradition. Planned under the stars, workshops and wine tasting. In the 2013 edition were given particular attention to the reception at Masseria and accessibility of educational courses.

Together with Dr.Francesco Minonne-botanical expert and Ms. Clara Miccoli you can learn to recognize the wild vegetables, to collect and assess the health-giving properties. Cost of participation € 3 (banbini and children free).
13 hours Lunch at the Restaurant -Maritime Aria Corte Diso-(participation optional).
The menu of wild vegetables includes: starter, main course offered by Molino del Salento, main course, fruit and beverages. Chef Virgilio Verdicchia. Cost per person 15, € 10 students and children.
During lunch Prof. Gino L. Di Mitri intervene to explain the properties and history of the vegetables in the Mediterranean diet.

Teaching at the Masseria La Torre you can harvest the first crop ever of the young vineyard "Aleatico di Puglia DOC", an ancient and prized grape which produces a sweet wine typical of the sweet wine from Puglia.
The program for the participants is as follows:
7.00 pm meeting in the farm;
7.15 pm start of the harvest.
Participants will receive a pair of scissors and a pair of gloves for pruning.
E 'recommended light clothing made ​​of sturdy shoes or rubber boots, long pants, shirt and hat for sun protection possible.
break from 10.00 to 10.15 hours in the woods with coffee and homemade biscuits;
12.00 am end of harvest
12:30 am refreshments in the country with products:
friselle with olive oil and fresh tomatoes, wine, soups, cereals and vegetables, farmhouse cheese, fruit, grapes and prickly pears.

Participants will be given the opportunity to pick the olives at will from the farm fields to make them in green water. Participation is free.
